Jump Right In and Run!
Storm Lake Running Club is a collection of runners from the avid racer to the casual runner, from the 5K “want to be” to the marathoner. Surely there’s a place in the club for a runner like YOU.
The club meets on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in the east parking lot of King's Pointe Waterpark Resort. Runs begin promptly at 6:15 p.m. At approximately 7:15 p.m. runners meet on the patio of Regatta Grille for a post-run social and an educational (approx. 15 minute) training-related presentation.

It's about happiness
"Since I started running at the first running club meeting in April (15 minutes and near cardiac arrest!) I've worked up to where I am today which is running 30-35 minutes 6-7 times a week. I've also gone from forcing myself to do it and having a very high heart rate and breathing rate to being very comfortable and feeling "in the groove" on most of my runs. I even got new running shoes this week! I don't see any marathons in my future, but I feel great and feel like I'm finally getting back to my pre-baby place. I've also felt inspired to really change my diet and I feel like a general happier person every day! I saw on your website that you wanted people to email in their stories and that is mine! So thank you for randomly mentioning the running club back in April!"
